Heather Meza

Early Life

 I was born and raised in St. Bernard, La. I was displaced after Hurricane Katrina and moved to the Westbank. I lived and worked on the Westbank for 9 years.  In 2015, I decided to be closer to family and now reside on the Northshore with my 3 amazing children.

Work Experience

The majority of my career, I have worked in retail.  I started out as a cashier at 18 years old. I bounced around various departments, learning the skills necessary to be successful, profitable, and how to deliver the best customer experience. At 26, I moved up the retail ladder to 4th position manager. The following year I was promoted to 3rd position store manager.  I decided a few years later that I wanted to go back to school to become a nurse. It had always been a dream of mine. Since starting back in college, I stepped down as a store manager and eventually decided to pursue my dreams full time. I am now in nursing school at Charity, as well as LSU completing the early admission registered nurse (EARN) program. I will graduate from Charity May 2022 and LSU tentatively December 2022 with my Bachelor’s degree. 

Although I am in school full time, I have interned and worked part time at physical therapy clinics and now All Saints Insurance.  Since becoming part of the All Saints team I have learned a lot of vital information on various insurance products. My number one goal at ASI is to take care of our clients.  As operations manager, I ensure that all of our team members have all information right at their fingertips, so they can seamlessly take care of our clients. One of my favorite things here at ASI, is to see a smile on our clients face or hear their testimony about their experience and knowledge that they have gained through the process of becoming properly insured. 

Hobbies

When I am not in school, taking care of patients, or working, I plan local activities with my kids and enjoy life with my dogs.  I have two dogs, a Boxer and a Great Dane. They are hyper, happy, and amazing dogs. My Boxer loves my littlest son and they are inseparable. My Dane equally loves to play and cuddle with everyone.  

Also, when I have a couple days to get away, I am either camping, ATV riding, fishing, or at the beach in Pensacola, Fl. I enjoy taking adventures, exploring new places, and meeting new faces.
